The Gathering of the Vibes is an excellent opporunity for the Solar Bus to turn people on to solar ideas. Unlike some of the other events we go to, we're not preaching to the choir here. Many people there had no idea that solar energy really works and they were amazed at our displays. We baked cookies and pizza in our solar oven, and we had many other working displays of solar energy including a solar powered fan, and a solar robot. And of course many people wanted to hear about our engine which runs on biodiesel and vegetable oil.
