SPRING CLEAN FOR HAITI

Support us in our SPRING CLEAN FOR HAITI collection drive! Now we need to ship all of our items to Haiti and need your help.

We have had a VERY SUCCESSFUL collection thanks to all of the generous people donating items.

Our storage area is full and we are busy organizing and consolidating in preparation for our end of September ship out date. Now we need your help for the final push! $6000 is the amount needed to pay shipping costs. On August 1st, we have $1200. Help us close the gap!

Here is an incredible list of the items we are sending:

15+ sewing machines and large amounts of sewing supplies and fabric These are going to a women's sewing cooperative and to a vocational center that are just getting started.
20+ computers, school and office supplies, art supplies and toys. These are going to a school with 120 children that The Vermont Haiti Project helped to start and continues to support.
Backpacks filled by middle school kids in Vermont for the kids in Haiti. They have school supplies, clothes, shoes, toiletries and personal notes and artwork in them. We hope to establish an ongoing relationship between the kids in both countries.
8 dressers filled with kid's clothes going to the school. For some kids, it is a boarding school. The kids are of all ages and for many, it is their first school experience, even though they may be teenagers.
Clothes, shoes, tools, household items, buckets for carrying water, bikes and more! These items will be distributed out into the community.
